If you are delicate move on.

Let's get this straight, I don't care what you think of me or what I'm doing. This blog is about crap that I like and crap that I'm doing. You don't have to look or read. Go somewhere else if things I say or do offend you. I like bikes, cars, naked women, and booze. Thats the content, you've been warned.

You must be kidding

So I got the 20 Footer on the road. Drove it down the hill a couple of times maybe 200 miles total. While rolling down the freeway I noticed a massive vibration that came and went. I crawled under to check the drive line and discovered that the douche nozzle that originally put it together used a drive shaft that was too short. WTF?! One thing that is driving me nuts about this van is the unbelievably crappy work done in the past. I get that things will be worn out but why even put work in if your not doing it correct. Ugh! So, naked ladies to ease my pain.

Introducing Rhonda the A100

I'm going to spend this cold day playing catch up. This post will be about Rhonda the A100, another of my projects.

Here is some shots of her.

A couple of weekends ago Wifey and I cleaned her out and put her in the garage for the beginning of bodywork.

There is the typical rust above the rain gutters and driver and passenger floor but, thats about it. I'll spend most of my time banging out dents.

As soon as the 20 Footer is road worthy and Peggy is fixed I'll start body work on Rhonda.

Sacramento Autorama

Went to Sacramento Autorama last weekend. Had a great time and saw some great cars. Here are some crappy pics we took, Or go here, for good pics-Bomb City Blog and Nyk Photography on the Hamb

2011 was a good show but much smaller than in the past. The large ag building was empty which made the show maybe a third smaller. There was a good showing of cars outside though and the Suede Pavillion was excellent as always. I bought some monster flake from one of my favorite builders, Gambino Kustoms.

So all thats left to do is get one of my projects done so I can be part of the fun.

The Twenty Footer

I picked this van up good and cheap. It came with tons of problems, probably should have called it the death trap. The owner quit driving it because of a bad tranny leak. Turned out to just be the selector shaft seal, 2 bucks and twenty minutes to fix. To the previous owner, if you read this don't feel bad. The tranny leak was the least of your worries.

My buddy Bert and I made a midnight run to the Bay area to pick it up. We were so tired coming home we literally would pull over, jump out, and make a lap of the truck. Good times. I worked a ton before and after we picked it up so it was a couple of days before I even saw it in the light. This is what I saw-

First thing I did was checkout the mechanics of it. The brakes were good and the motor started. Now, the bad. The steering box was barely held on by a nut and one of the idler arms was blown out. This thing must have been one hairy ride. The wiring had been added and added to, the heater was gone as in not there, the valve cover gaskets might as well have not been there, and the tranny leak. So, I ordered some parts and proceeded to gut it out.

Setting the Tone

I swiped these pics from other blogs, just a sample of the shit I like. If the pic is yours then take credit, I've collected them for a while and don't know the sources.
