If you are delicate move on.

Let's get this straight, I don't care what you think of me or what I'm doing. This blog is about crap that I like and crap that I'm doing. You don't have to look or read. Go somewhere else if things I say or do offend you. I like bikes, cars, naked women, and booze. Thats the content, you've been warned.

Alex I'll take Philly for 100

I was a shithead in high school, still am. I never took auto shop but I spent day and night in my garage wrenching. Anyway, tonight while stuck in my hotel I watched Frontline. Check it out here- Fast Times at West Philly High

The Rusty Nutz car show

The day after the Idaho Fox Hunt found us in Twin Falls, ID where The Rusty Nutz hold a nice car show. There weren't many cars that struck my fancy but it was a really nice venue and the folks were polite and friendly, something I've really enjoyed. The following are a couple of the cars-

Overall fun show and Twin Falls is a nice city

Idaho Fox Hunt Part 2

Keep in mind I only had a phone not a real camera and. I went to watch the race not to be a junior reporter.
Part 3 next will be all videos if I can upload them

Idaho Fox Hunt

Our first weekend off here in Idaho we caught the good old Fox Hunt. This race has been going on for many years. Had a great time, saw some good looking cars, and watched some great racing. These folks know how to run a track.
Yes those are snowmobiles on the pavement. Part 2 coming up
So, I've spent the last week maintaining the proper blood level in my alcohal stream. Son of a bitch I'm getting old. I don't enjoy five morning in a row with a hangover. I did enjoy the five nights in a row create said hangover. I've been
on grill duty most nights. Here is a sample of last night

Good times Ladies this is for you

my own private Idaho

Wow it's been a while since I posted on here. So Uncle Sam has plopped my ass in the middle of Idaho. Did you know that there's not much to do in Idaho? Oh there's fishing, hunting, hiking, etc. I don't do any of those things nor do I have the desire! I'm gonna strangle the next person that gleefully says lets go to Cabellas! But, all is not lost! Apparently this state has a couple gearheads and I've witnessed some fun stuff, things I wouldn't normally get to see. For instance, snow mobiles drag racing on 1/4 mile pavement!
That's right and fast fuckers too!

I have also gone to some nice car shows, found an epic wrecking yard, and watched Mud Bogs. I'll do seperate posts for each event so, for now... The End

Thank a Veteran

THANK A VETERAN FOR YOUR FREEDOM By J. L. Sager It was a veteran, not a reporter, Who guaranteed freedom of the press. It was a veteran, not a poet, Who guaranteed freedom of speech. It was a veteran, not a campus organizer, Who guaranteed freedom to demonstrate. It was a veteran, not a minister, Who guaranteed freedom to worship. It was a veteran, not a salesman, Who guaranteed freedom to own property. It was a veteran, not a travel agent, Who guaranteed freedom to travel. It was a veteran, not a politician, Who guaranteed freedom to vote. It is a veteran who salutes the Flag, Risks it all for the Flag, And who is buried beneath the Flag.

A100 Progress

I just realized I promised an update and I never delivered. So, here is what I did a couple weeks ago.

I finished the one piece windows enough to send the template to my buddy at the glass shop

I pulled out the heater assembly to help with cutting out the floor. Also, I anticipate putting in an A/C unit in its place

Then I started cutting out the floors. I of course ran out of time at this point and haven't touched it since. I'll square up the cuts then fab up some new pieces and weld them in. Once that is done I'll take care of the couple of rust areas on the roof than start hammering dents out.

Shadow

First coat on the frame today. Went a little heavy on the flake but that's what I do.

I'll second coat it tomorrow, then clear. The frame will have to stay untouched for a week then I'll hang the wiring. In the mean time I'll paint the motor and start the polishing. I still haven't fully commited to the paint job for the tins. More than likely it'll just happen.
